Hey everyone, if you’re in the Falmouth area in June (or fancy a trip down to Cornwall), I suggest you check out our exhibition, featuring work from 1st & 2nd year Fashion Photography students at Falmouth University.
The event will be at the Fish Factory (a gritty docking yard, turned art exhibition space).
The event is between 3pm-6pm on the 7th of June and will feature music fro BAKER and Rafiki.
There will be food and a bar.
So come down and check out what we’re up to this year.

For those who may not have seen this yet, I am in love with the new ad for @TopmanUK.
It combines the cleanliness of studio photography with the gritty fun & filth of the outdoor festival vibe.
I think this is a really clever and fun way to do a Fashion Film, showing off all elements to festival wear from the downpour of rain to the late night gig.
Topman… Good job !

Put A Sock In It ›

his season’s most sought after accessories get to grip with the sock monsters.

In love with this editorial in HUNGER Magazine.
Very light-hearted and quirky

"The Youth Of Today" by Harry J Bartlett ›

Hey guys, lots have been going on at the moment, pretty hectic at university.
Our currant project is the “I Love…” project and i’ve decided to do a book on my theme of “Urban Youth Icons”, I will (hopefully) be creating 3/4 editorials throughout.
This image is one of my shots from “The Youth Of Today”.

Here are just a few of the shots from the day at The Poly in Falmouth. This was such a chilled out shoot and I feel as though we still managed to deliver some incredible photographs. The idea of mystery within the man was something both Gavin and I felt we should push within the narrative and styling to get a feel for this wealthy but intriguing man. Inspired by Dior Homme and an old Hollywood vibe.
Gavin submitted these images to the Vogue Italia website and they were snapped up straight away !

An overall great shoot to be a part of and I hope we collaborate again in the not-so distant future.

Go ahead, check out his website:

listening to this song over and over as I update my blog and edit my photographs (as per I apologise for the delays).
I seriously recommend listening to this song and checking out his other stuff, he’s one to look out for.

Olympic themed shoot by Elliot Munns (Fashion Photography @ UCF)
This shoot has been one of the most tiring days as well as the most fun, I wore many different outfits and modelled for multiple fashion photographers.
I had fun working with Elliot, blaring music out and just getting on with it, after my look had been styled, we just got on with it without the need of a huge team.
This pants were designed by Chris Cardy (Performance Sportswear @ UCF), there was a top that went with as it was actually designed for a woman… but I think we managed to make it work with the styling.
I would really like to work with him again on a shoot at some point… This guy has some really exciting work that I think you should check out:

Here’s a picture where I look a little more different than usual, an Andrej Pejic inspired photoshoot I did with my friend and Fashion Photographer Tom Selmon
We had lots of fun doing this shoot and I feel like we managed to get quite a good androgynous vibe from the day… although it doesn’t look like me, its actually one of my favourite pictures that someone has taken of me.
You should all check out his website, he has some pretty amazing things on there!

One of my favourite (yet most difficult) look to shoot.
I desperately wanted to try and get the right angle on this halter neck style knitwear.
I wanted to create a ‘Black Swan’ sort of pose, arching the models back to show the hang of the knitwear from her body. Also raising the arms to completely stretch her body and show how the garment sits perfectly on the breast area but hangs loosely to reveal the back of the wearer.
