#UrbanYouth: A Cheeky Teaser

This may look a little peculiar to most and most definitely looks more ‘Marine & Natural History’ than it does ‘Fashion Photography, but here is a quick teaser image to one of my editorials I’m working on for my final major project at Famouth University.

#Picture24 Exhibition: update

As of this morning, we successfully reached our target to raise £5000 for our graduate Fashion Photography exhibition in Central London.
It was a close call but we managed to push through with minutes to spare.
I wanted to say a big thank you to everybody who has pledged money and everyone who shared the links on various social media platforms.
As more and more details happen regarding our…

Creating testers and finding inspiration for my FMP on my Fashion Photography course

#GLITCH_art_1 No.1 x Harry J Bartlett

For my latest photo shoot, I have been experimenting with Glitch Art, a trend that I have become quite fond of and have spent a lot of time trying to figure out and have fun with. A glitch is an error that can occur within technology such as a screen…

a cheeky preview of today’s editorial

I thought I should post a little teaser of what I have been up to today.
I have been shooting for a healthy 6 hours shooting my editorial and piecing together a small fashion film to go alongside.
Nothing has been edited yet and the images have been…

Rock Hard? by Harry J Bartlett

After scrolling through my images, I noticed I had a few images from the “Youth of Today” shoot from my last project. I feel like I should upload these for you guys to see what I had been doing last year on my Fashion Photography course at Falmouth University.
This project helped me find my own feet on the course and I really got to style the shoots as I wanted to match my style of photography and inspirations.

Hey everyone, if you’re in the Falmouth area in June (or fancy a trip down to Cornwall), I suggest you check out our exhibition, featuring work from 1st & 2nd year Fashion Photography students at Falmouth University.
The event will be at the Fish Factory (a gritty docking yard, turned art exhibition space).
The event is between 3pm-6pm on the 7th of June and will feature music fro BAKER and Rafiki.
There will be food and a bar.
So come down and check out what we’re up to this year.

For those who may not have seen this yet, I am in love with the new ad for @TopmanUK.
It combines the cleanliness of studio photography with the gritty fun & filth of the outdoor festival vibe.
I think this is a really clever and fun way to do a Fashion Film, showing off all elements to festival wear from the downpour of rain to the late night gig.
Topman… Good job !
